I’m Scott Smith, owner of Elevated Home Solutions, based in north Texas, and serving the entire Dallas – Fort Worth/East Texas corridor. As a second-generation licensee, I’ve spent my entire career handling thousands of home inspection service requests. How to Schedule an Appointment: In order to have adequate time to do a state home or building inspection correctly, Elevated Home Solutions offers both morning and afternoon appointments. Morning appointments begin at 9:30 a.m. and afternoon appointments may be booked at 2:30 p.m.

Each Elevated Home Solutions inspection includes the following detailed analysis of property:
- Thorough inspection of the property under the guidelines of the state of Texas, following state codes.
- Inspection of foundation visually to check for movement in the house, or any other foundation issues.
- Inspection of interior and exterior walls.
- Inspection of all mechanical equipment, such as heating units, air conditioning units, and appliances.
- Inspection of all plumbing and electrical systems.
- Inspection of the roof, looking at how it was laid, structure, and problems such as hail damage.
- Inspection of the attic, checking the insulation and attic structure.
- Inspection for gas leaks.
- Plus, anything else in the home that the inspector feels is important to the individual home.
- Inspection of sprinkler systems, checking each zone at a time.
- Inspection of pools and spas on the property
Other value-added service and advice to consider:
- If the purpose of the inspection is a pending purchase, we strongly encourage the home buyer to be present at the time of the inspection, to allow us to walk you through any issues which may be discovered. This ensures that you will have no uncertainty about your future home’s condition.
- Within 24 hours of the inspection, you will receive a computer-generated report with color photography.
